Along with the development of quantum information science and technology, higher requirements for the manipulation and detection of the basic unit in quantum information processing, the quantum system, have been set, such as higher fidelity control, longer decoherence time, more precise detection, and broader functions. In order to promote research in solid-state quantum information and quantum computation and to strengthen international collaborations, the 2024 International Workshop on Solid-state Quantum Information (IWSQI2024) is set to take place from December 20-23, 2024 in Guangzhou, China. The workshop is jointly organized by Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, and Fuzhou University. IWSQI2024 will bring together scientists around the world to discuss the latest experimental and theoretical developments in solid-state quantum information and quantum computation. Since its inception in 2019 at Shangrao, Jiangxi, the International Workshop on Solid-state Quantum Information and quantum Computation has been a platform for researchers from China and overseas to collaborate and advance their research in related fields. IWSQI2024 mainly focuses on theoretical and experimental advances in solid-state quantum information and quantum computation, and experts engaged in other directions of quantum information and quantum optics are also welcome to join us.
近年来,随着量子信息科学与技术的进一步发展,人们对量子信息处理中最基本的信息单元——量子体系——的操控与探测提出了更高的要求,例如更高保真度的调控、更长的退相干时间、更高精度的探测以及更广泛的功能等。为促进固态量子信息和量子计算科学领域的研究,加强国际同行的交流,由中山大学主办、华南理工大学和福州大学协办的《2024年固态量子信息国际前沿研讨会》(IWSQI2024)将于2024年12月20日至23日在广东省广州市举行。此次会议将汇聚来自世界各地的专家学者,讨论固态量子信息和量子计算最新的理论与实验进展。我们诚挚地邀请您参加本次会议。
