Introduction of ICCK

The ICCK was established in 1985 to bring together investigators from universities, research laboratories, and industrial organizations to discuss progress and problems in theoretical and experimental chemical kinetics. Since 2011, the scope has been extended from gas phase kinetics to much broader and more complex conditions (e.g. in interstellar, atmospheric and combustion regimes, in condensed phases and on surfaces...). In recent years, the conference has been held in Orléans (2019), Chicago (2017), Ghent (2015), Seville (2013), and Boston (2011).

The theme of the 12th ICCK is "Smart Modeling: Big Data and Automated Kinetics", which will be held at the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China. Topic areas of the ICCK 2023 will cover but are not limited to: (1)Experimental and theoretical methods in chemical kinetics; (2) Gas phase kinetics; (3) Solution – Liquid kinetics; (4) Catalysis – homogeneous & heterogeneous; (5) Ion kinetics; (6) Kinetic Modeling and uncertainty analysis; (7) Chemical kinetics in real world: Combustion, Atmosphere and Space; (8) Biocatalysis – Enzyme kinetics; (9) Computational fluid dynamics and model reduction; (10) Electrochemistry and energy storage.

The International Journal of Chemical Kinetics (IJCK) will publish a special issue with a selection of papers (extended version) presented at the conference. The papers will be peer reviewed and the final decision on acceptance of papers to IJCK is with the editors. We are looking forward to receiving short abstract of your studies at this stage.

    See you in Hefei!
